A New Year, A New Me.

Today is the first day of 2010, sitting here, playing mario kart on wii with the new host family. The night consisted of French, Belgian, Swiss Italians, and Americans. We ate a lot of food, we danced a lot, and spoke a lot of FRENCH!

The Start of Something New

I've failed miserably at documenting my whole exchange to the public, mainly because I'm lazy. I'm not going to go back and explain everything that has happened in the past four months, sorry. I'm starting from here, December 20th.

Today I spent the day with my extended host family. We went to Verdun, France and had a big lunch and dinner. It was nice, but I still feel awkward. I feel like I don't really fit in well with the family. I just kind of sit there and listen.

I only have 7 days left with my current host family and I honestly don't know how I feel about it. I don't know if I am excited, scared, happy, sad, or what. I love them and have grown so close to them this last month that I've been living with them. My rooms a mess trying to get my whole life packed into those two suitcases once again, but it's possible.

It's been snowing like crazy and I hate it. I hate snow. It's cold and wet and just nasty. I might as well get used to it because it's only going to keep getting colder and it's only going to keep snowing.

It's about midnight, so I might want to go to bed. Updates later
